+ breast & colorectal active in the UAE pilot
BioTwin exists to build a virtual twin that learns from biomarkers to detect cancer before symptoms appear. Every kit contributes to that mission. The long-term goal is early-stage detection for the cancers that today are caught too late, when treatment options are fewer and outcomes are harder to change.
BioTwin's first clinical pilot delivers results today to physicians at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi. The pilot focuses on two specific cancers: breast cancer and colorectal cancer. Patients are referred by their physicians, not the other way around.
Results are returned to the referring physician, who interprets them in the context of the patient's full medical record. BioTwin does not deliver clinical findings directly to participants in the pilot. The programme operates entirely under the regulatory framework of the United Arab Emirates.
BioTwin works alongside Al Jalila Children's Specialty Hospital and Dubai Health on adjacent research collaborations, broadening the molecular evidence base that feeds the virtual twin.
The pilot is not a commercial service in the United States or Canada. Results are delivered through partner physicians only.
Beyond the UAE pilot, BioTwin runs scientific research projects across oncology, neurology, cardiology, and lifestyle conditions. These projects are not yet delivered to participants. With consent, anonymized biomarker data from BioTwin kits feeds the detection models BioTwin's research team is developing.
