Description

The Diabetes Research Project, scheduled to begin on October 1, 2023, is an observational cohort study lasting 12 months and intended to deepen the understanding of diabetes. The main emphasis is on untargeted metabolite profiling associated with type 1 and type 2 diabetes, offering potential perspectives on the metabolic complexities of the disease. In addition, the study seeks to identify the modifiable risk factors that could influence the onset or the progression of diabetes. By shedding light on these factors, the research could one day highlight preventive strategies and lifestyle modifications. We cordially invite researchers and eligible participants to join this scientific exploration, as their knowledge and their experience are essential to the success and the richness of the research.

Eligibility

Individuals diagnosed with type 1 or type 2 diabetes.

Objective

Understand and improve outcomes for diabetes.

Expected outcomes

  • Untargeted metabolic profiling
  • Differentiation of subtypes and phases
  • Identification of modifiable risk factors
